The Role of Social Styles in Communication
There are four different social styles, each with distinctive attributes that aid effective communication. We each have a preference to one of the four social styles and typically start communication in that style. On occasions to aid effective communication the ability to flex and move into using a different social style can be very effective.
In this session those attending gain insight into these four different social styles, what makes them each unique and how moving between the styles can achieve effective communication. Following this session this will enable them to recognise the social style they are displaying, identify the social style of those they are communicating with and enable them to move into a different social style if required to achieve and maintain effective communication.
