ALDERLEY PARK HOSTS KEY INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT CONFERENCE.
Delegates from around the world are attending the BioCap conference at the Alderley Park Conference Centre today.
The event brings together international investors and corporate financiers with life science companies seeking funding. Organised by the industry membership group Bionow, it is the only specialist life science investment conference in the North of England and showcases the wealth of life science investment opportunities in the region.
Chris Doherty, managing director of Alderley Park said: “There are over 1,000 life science companies in the North, employing some 38,000 people and making a huge contribution to the UK economy. BioCap is now in its fifth year and has become a major event, where its innovators and the next generation of life science businesses can easily connect.

Rowena Burns, chief executive of Manchester Science Partnerships, will deliver the keynote address that opens the conference.
